HALLOWEEN SHADOW BOX

Decorate your home in style this Halloween with this very creative yet spooky shadow box.  You will decorate a printer’s tray from 7 Gypsies with Halloween papers, stamps and punches.  You will learn a lot of tips, tricks and techinqiues that you can apply to card making and scrapbooking. 

This project is inspired by one I saw on the Memory Box blog. 

Please sign up for this class as soon as possible so I can be sure to have all the supplies you will need in stock.

CLASS FEE: $50 includes the tray and all prep work

NOTE: The class may not last all day, but we will start at 10am, take a break for lunch and finish in the afternoon.

HALLOWEEN CANDY TREATS

Delight trick or treaters with a very special candy treat that you have decorated with stamps, die cuts and embellishments.  You will make several different candy containers including a handle bag, a plastic tube (full of scray eyeballs!!!), a really cute candy corn treat and an embellished “cellophane tube.”  We have all the supplies here to make these treats so if you can’t come to class, stop in and see the samples.  Brin g class kit.

CLASS FEE: $20 does not include all candy

BOOKMARKS

Books are always a popular holiday gift and this year make your gift extra special by including a unique bookmark.  In this class you will make several types of bookmarks including a magnetic bookmark; one on a jumbo paper clip; and two that use a darling set of stamps from My Favorite Things.  You can copy my samples or design your own in class!  Bring class kit.

This class is packed with stamps, embellishments, grungeboard and more – all designed by Tim Holtz.  It is also packed with lots of cool techniques – here are just a few: shrinking a Spellbinders Jack O’Lantern die; making a pearlized mist; coloring backgrounds and grungeboard with distress inks; and letterpressing with an embossing folder.  The class fee reflects the cool hardware and grungeboard that will be used in class.  Bring class kit, ink blending tool with refill pads for greens, purples, oranges and browns; craft sheet; foam tape; and mini glue dots.

AUTUMN'S BEAUTY

Fall is the most beautiful season with trees cloaked in rich hues of red and orange and gold.  In this class we will take those same colors and apply them in different ways to stamped images.  Using a wide range of media including distress inks, Copic markers, embossing powders and flower soft, we will paint trees and leaves with colors of fall.  Don’t miss this colorful class!  Bring class kit.

FLOWERS OF FALL

To me, the “flowers” of fall include everything from pumpkins to falling leaves to sunflowers and mums.  In this class we will create several cards using images of these ‘flowers” in stamps and die cuts.  We will add rich fall color using Copic markers; enhance our ‘flowers” with flower soft; and mount them on colorful papers from the Basic Grey Indian Summer collection.  Come and have fun plus learn new techniques to enhance your own stamping!

CREATING COLORFUL BACKGROUNDS WITH MEMENTO INKS

Learn to create dramatic backgrounds using Memento dye-based inks and jumbo finger daubers.  We will use beautiful Christmas stamps from Penny Black and Hero Arts and a variety of Memento inks.
